SOCHI, Russia — Lewis Hamilton drifted to an easy triumph and earned a Mercedes one-two finish at the Russian Grand Prix on Sunday to stiffen his grip on a 6th World Championship.

In a disastrous couple of laps for Ferrari, the Italian team gave up a conceivable one-two finish of its own after Sebastian Vettel crumbled and Charles Leclerc gave up from first to third.

Valtteri Bottas pursued teammate Hamilton home at the Sochi Autodrome as Mercedes verified the full quantity of points.
